Yes our new startup is going to be called “Quarky and Friends”, don’t ask me why…
We at QaF are experienced developers and engineers based in Silicon Valley with the goal of testing the feasibility of launching ambitious projects and creating NextGen electronic devices under the comfortable blanket of anonymity. For software-based projects, this is not too difficult but there are major hurdles to be overcome for our physical inventions.
First, a quick introduction of our ongoing projects (some with working prototypes):
- A Q&A website leveraging crypto to incentivize rapid and high-quality answers for both the general public and professional communities, with a screened community for top-tier technical consulting (which traditionally can be worth $400-$800+/hr)
- A free minimal cyber-security software targeted for typical computer users that lists the currently running non-standard processes and the corresponding networking bandwidth used, as well as the destination IP address and location, and add-ons for further analysis such as bandwidth content specifics
- A small electronic device for retail cashiers that will allow for customers paying with cash to opt-in to a service that will round up their change to the nearest dollar with a set probability (e.g. 70 cents has a 70% chance of returning a dollar), for both customer satisfaction and to reduce operating costs for coin management
- A general-purpose mini computing device that is designed to be capable for use in both prototyping as well as directly used for basically any category of consumer electronics through standardized ports and breakout cables to connect to any type of input/output device, with CPU options ranging from microcontrollers to FPGA SoCs (for large/high-speed electronics)
Each of our projects has (in our humble opinion) the potential to revolutionize their respective industries, but with the caveat that they receive sufficient community interaction on launch to not fade into obscurity. Towards this effort, we have decided to temporarily switch focus to community building, with an NFT project already tested and ready for launch on the Cosmos ecosystem, specifically the Stargaze NFT market.
